Vuescan is compatible with the canon lide 80 on windows x86, windows x64, windows rt, windows 10 arm, mac os x and linux. Canon lide 25 on windows 7. You can still operate the LIDE 120 by going into Systems Preferences - Lide 120- Open Scanner but this is inconvenient and time wasting. If I read Canon's site correctly, the software versions you want for the CanoScan Lide 25 to work with OS X 10.5 are: CanoScan Toolbox for OS X (4.934X) - software utility ScanGear CS (11.030X).
